The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,700 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 28 trips to carry that many people.

I would like to share an experience with you all about drinking and driving. As you may know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.
A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers and some rather nice Merlot.
Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I’ve never done before – I took a bus home. I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and I’m not sure where I got this one.
Kim has undergone multiple surgeries in recent years. Most recently she had surgery to remove multiple brain tumors. I’m sure we can all imagine what a health and financial struggle this has been for this single, working Mom. Please help if you can by visiting Papa’s Pizza on Coburg Road on January 5th and bringing along the attached flyer.
You’ll be well fed and you’ll know you’re doing something to help someone who is truly in need in our community.
Thanks to you all!

Happy Birthday Matilda! You deserve the very best in life and I know this year will bring you all you desire.
You are an amazing woman and a gifted writer; wise beyond your years. The endless curiosity that keeps you constantly striving to learn all you can about life, the planet we live on, and your fellow inhabitants means you will never be without subject matter.
People may be drawn to you by your beauty and easy smile but they remain entranced by your keen intelligence, bright wit, passion for life and most of all your incredible capacity for joy.
Remain honest to yourself, write courageously about your truth, and continue to live life to the fullest! I am honored to be your friend and humbled by how many ways you already surpass me.
I know I don’t need to tell you how to celebrate. You will do it with the same passion you bring to everything you do. ENJOY!
Happy Birthday! I thought you should know, and the rest of the world as well, that I am SO THANKFUL you were born. You are an inspiration, a great lady, an amazing friend, and one of the most courageous, fantastic people in the world. There are few individuals that have the capacity to take on each day, each challenge, with the conviction and humor that you do.
I for one, am better having you in my life. So Happy Birthday you amazing lady!
